We recently stayed at Hotel Zur Waldbahn in Zwiesel, a hidden gem near the train station. The room was renovated, boasting large and comfortable beds with a cozy balcony offering stunning views of the garden. The restaurant served top-notch Bavarian cuisine, and we savored delicious homemade jams during breakfast. The staff was professional and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The indoor pool and sauna were perfect for relaxation, although the pool water was a bit chilly for our liking. The hotel's extensive gardens and terrace added to the charm of the property. Our short dinner on the terrace was lovely, although we faced a minor hiccup with table arrangements. Despite a small issue with a forgotten ring, the staff's attentiveness and efficiency in locating and returning it were commendable. Zwiesel is a must-visit for its glass factories and the ZEB public pool. Highly recommend Hotel Zur Waldbahn for a delightful Bavarian stay!
